    A tale of two Microsoft updates: Windows 7 RTM version is on its way out (support-wise), while the latest update for Visual Studio 2012 is on its way in, downloadable now.

Windows 7 x64 is failing to install this update so it's always availible and always try to update when I'm turning off my computer. It's freaking annoying. How to overcome this problem? Can you make Windows NOT to install this perticular update?

Every day since December 2012 this update tries to install on my laptop and fails. Today I got a message saying Visual Studio has compatability issues when launching Visual Studio. Running Windows 7 Professional SP1 32 bit.
