    It is called satire.

    Satire is the use of irony to expose a folly.

    Andy Borowitz is a well known satirist. He has made that story up.

    It is funny because although it is not strictly true, there is a great deal of truth in the concept.

    So much so, that some might actually think it is a true story.

    Learn something? You are joking right? They never learn from anything that does work and leap head first into the next flop city to come along! The entire folly with 8 is obvious once you look at what they are now pushing out on the market namely their brand new line of Surface Tablets along with the ARM units!

    Why make the desktop look the same as the tablets? Simply put 2+2 together and MS came up with 5? or should I day "8"!
