fantastic bit of kit, should wake up the competition a bit.
im pleased to see i was wrong about the gamepad.
the wii u gamepad looks too fragile
Not really. I can use mine to whack a friend over the head and it doesn't have a problem with that. It's not fragile by any definition, except of course against sharp objects (like knives)

With that said, I'm not interested in the Xbox One. I had the 360, and never got into any of it's games.
thats good to know, so you think it would be four year old proof who would throw it on the floor in a rage occasionally.

If you have a four year old then yeah you will need a skin to protect the finish.

M$ can take a hike, no backwards compatibility is shameful .

Wii looks like it's my last console, Xbox 1, Playstation 1, and Dreamcast, and older ones, I have had enough.

I'm keeping my Xbox 360, probably won't bother with the Xbox One, I can't play great old games like GTA: San Andreas. I still even have my Playstation 1, and it's in perfect working order.

There seem to be a few upset people commenting on GammaSquad.

A hard-drive I can't remove? What if I want to transfer my profile onto a larger hard-drive at some point?

i spoke with some guys in a local games shop recently, they think that the cloud games are going to kill the small games traders and the owner of the store is considering NOT selling it.
Ms may find a lot of small stores feel the same

I wouldn't purchase a game and download it, I'll rather buy the physical disc, more much reliable :)
