Hi there
Wasn't it a shame that the old NETMEETING in XP got dropped -- had this been developed further the whole LYNC SKYPE type of integration would have been common place YEARS AGO.
I know some organisations who still use Netmeeting on XP virtual machines for video conferencing / remote help etc etc. Cannot ever understand why MS ever got rid of it.
However the Lync / Skype thingy seems a decent enough replacement -- just a pity it took them so long (and presumably they had to buy Skype too for a shedload of money which they didn't need to spend).
Here's some shots of what Netmeeting could do over 12 years ago !!!! so Ms "Back to the future" !!!!. No problem back then with Video integration --for which we STILL have to wait another year for. (And NETMEETING WAS FREE !!!!).
