Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is supposed to show off the new Intel Atom which I think in this area AMD will kill

There APU's are just too strong for Intel to deal with that is a real win for AMD there on the Mobile market
If anything, It does make it interesting that there's so many in the field.

With so many different company's "takes" on the idea, there maybe some new innovations.

As long the largest"Intel" doesn't muscle the rest of the competition out.

Intel confirms 'Haswell' chip intro at Computex
That would be a Huge Impact because that chip has some kind of dynamic energy mode which you have to have a qualified PSU to run it

I guess for most people and the world for that matter is to save energy but in the long run the cost are about equal either way

Also keep in mind this is new Architecture so..... we pretty much know the end result the programs already coded to run well on there single threaded ways before will just improve Intel I would say is moving forward in Technology to a Degree

I think AMD is going for something unheard of and as of late been creating some pretty wild things lately ,I'm really not Partial to either I just buy what works well for me at the time

I could be like everyone else as well and have built Intel awesome but I took another route and it works pretty nice for me so far
