    Using a novel method that mimics brain functions, Microsoft researchers say they've doubled the speed at which speech is recognized and results are returned. They've also improved accuracy by 15 percent.

Is Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 Premium for $200 better than Windows 7 Speech recognition for free?
I'm starting to use Windows 7's speech recognition program which is proving to be much better than the alternatives, especially Dragon. However, I can't get it to work with non-microsoft programs. It won't work with Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, iDesign), Open Office, or the Chrome...

I use soeech recognition promarily for entering numbers into spreadsheets. I decided to try the native WIN 7 Speech Recognition rather than upgrading Dragon. I can't get to accurately do numbers. Is there a command or key you can use to specifiy numbers?
Does anyone have any experience with either two and give me a comparison on which is better.
