It still has the whole Kinect required/watching you always deal that some dislike.
Although probably not much of a deal breaker as the used game, trading deal was.
But, there's also the fact that right from the start PS4 is superior in RAW power. 40-50% more powerful if rumors are true. And by that, I mean the paper specs and whats been said from some Developers. That the PS4 would be noticeably better from day 1, visually.
But the Xbox is supposed to work with the cloud streaming to make up the slack ... not sure how that will work.
I guess its just a matter of time to see how things work out.
Is this not how it works now? I don't have an Xbox, but PS3 games already require game to be loaded onto the HDD anyway, but the disk is needed for authentication.
Again taking an example from the Playstation world, but i am assuming that Xbox is the same, you need the latest firmware to get into the store, which for my Playstation Plus subscription, is needed to get the free games they are offering. I'm assuming that as MS are now doing something similar for the Xbox this will be the same.jimbo45 said:
Also, I've found that if your machine is connected to your network, you can't do anything without the latest firmware.
Fine if you never want to go online I guess, but then I would ask, why bother getting an Xbox when all it's got going for it is the enhanced multimedia capabilities.
