I principally use Firefox and with Firefox 23 I have not had any crashes, however with erlier versions of Firefox I experienced some crashes.

On a side note I tried the HTML 5 speedtest. Both Firefox and Chrome gave about the same results which were quite good, however both IE 10 and IE 11 (preview for Windows 7) could not handle the speedtest well and gave very poor results.

    Goodbye Firefox, Hello Pale Moon

I'm sick of Mozilla's obsession with adding "useless fluff" (instead of fixing the things that I think should be fixed).

I do realise that some people love "useless fluff", like social media integration, so I guess I'll have to say goodbye to FF.

I'm using Pale Moon 64 bit now.

That said FF crashes are rare.

There was a period between FF6 and FF16, where it crashed constantly on my XP install.
It would only happen at FF start up and after restarting, it would run correctly.
This didn't happen in my XP VMs though.

I use IE10 at school. Nearly everyday I have crashes.

At home, I rock the latest version of FireFox. Anytime it crashes, its because of my computer being maxed out.

I would like to know how many of the web crashes would need a reboot ?

Do agree with the FF update realm, still on 14 (I think), why change unless it needs to really fix something or a need feature...

well, as long as you have Adblock, Ghostery and Noscript updated it should not have a major impact.

If not, then you are running around with your virtual pants down if you don't update for a so long time. Not that Firefox 22 is fully safe, but everything helps.

Got links for those specific add-ons? I'm going to update my network at home with those add ons soon as I find them!

    Add-ons Manager

    1. Start FF
    2. Open the "Add-ons Manager" tab (Ctrl + Shift + A).
    3. Enter the add-on name in the search box on the "Get Add-ons" tab.
    4. Choose the add-on from the results
    5. Install the add-on using the"Add to Firefox" button

FF crashes regularly. I only use Adblock and CookeMonster. Some sites doen't come up at all so for that reason I also use Opera, Chrome and Maxthon. I don't believe Chrome has ever crashed but I try to avoid Google products because of PRISM. Opera and Maxthon have their own unfortunate quirks which prevent me from using them "full time." I still prefer FF but it doesn't like my environment.

I don't mind using multiple browsers tho. This way I can do complex lookups and select the browser that works best with a particular site.
