    Hi there
W8 -- no probs as it's IE10 -- it's W8.1 which believe it or not is actually a passably USEABLE version of Windows 8 -- especially with Boot directly to desktop allowed (set in Control panel ==>Navigation).

    W8.1 has IE11 already installed -- you can't revert back to IE10.

    Cheers

Yeah for me this is a big issue as I usually call in to the giants shows after the games so I need to hear the live feeds.

Anyway as I said, thus far it's the only major issue I've had. My other issue with Microsoft's Dream Spark site was resolved by putting it in Compatibility View. With that the issue went away. For this issue, compatibly view still doesn't fix it

Anyway I'm still looking for a fix so...

@MOST OF PEOPLE HAVING PROBS ON W7 with IE11 (usually with media streaming services).

    1) Disable enhanced security "feature" !! - check!
    2) set compatibility mode - check!

(Update Silverlight too if you use services like Netflix / SKY GO etc that need it). - check!

Remember Flash is being phased out so you will need to enable compatibility where sites make use of flash player. - check!
    Did those, still no-go here

Don't know if it's related, but I discovered a hardware fault..
    - the SATA lead to one of my SSD's had worked loose..

System seems to be running with more stability now
I shall still post here if I discover any specific ie11 problems

    just for discussion..:)

So I'm not the only one who has problems with those awful SATA cables.

If you mean no IE11 for Windows 8 - Yes, Microsoft already said there would be no IE11 on Win 8, since it's a already incorporated in 8.1, which basically kills off Windows 8.

Basically once Windows 8.1 goes live Oct 18, Windows 8 pretty much dies the next day. This of course is the simple synapse but you get the drift.

The drift of 8 that is! blahhhh... One of the most likely reasons why live feed wouldn't be working is probably due to the site still needing to update things for 11 maybe only now catching up finally for IE 10 at the Giants as well as a long list of other sites. That plus 11 is still not the finished product with all the goods included as of yet.

As for sata cables and being loose when you start seeing "missing boot device" type errors when powering up you'll know for sure the drive cables need to be checked. Once a friend finally pulled my old case out when he tried installing XP over the clean Vista install that was on and still got nowhere I moved the two HD cables over from Ports #1+#2 to #3+#4 to clear that up fast,(fresh 7 install there afterwards).

None of that directly 11 but Windows in general causing startup issues. And if you can't get Windows to start up you can't run into problems with any browser!
