Campaign for Windows 7's Immediate Release

A Windows enthusiast is calling for Microsoft to release Windows 7 now, only a few weeks after the company made available the software's first public test version.
Nashville, Tennessee, resident Kelly Poe has started the "Release Windows 7 Now" campaign to urge the company to "let the beautiful little birdy (with the odd name) fly" instead of continuing to test the software.

Yes it's a great OS, but is it ready for release, no way!! There are a hell of allot of bugs that need to be ironed out, drivers that need to be fixed and features that need adding and some that need a rethink, I don't want an OS that has not benefited from full beta testing and anyone who does is a total idiot!

Lets add a poll to see what our members think!

    Ok mark,

    Simple poll added

Mind you an Operating Systems readiness for release does not usually stop it being released

    No way,

If Microsoft were to release windows 7 now with all the bugs and issues we might as well just change the name to Vista II.

It's a very good operating system in beta form, it's gonna be great at RTM.

Never take the cake out of the oven 20 minutes early,,,,,,lol

I would hardly classify this guy as a "windows enthusiast". From a brief look at his site, Kelly Poe's a Mac-Head. I don't see anything to indicate he has any tech background. Just a blogger reaping his 15 minutes of fame, I'm guessing.

kelly poe and his/her "birdy" need to find a roost somewhere. for at least four or five months. i used to test software regularly for some software comps, it's a nasty life, and just a little tough on the hardware. that's what betas, even public betas are for.
