I don't like too much the "cloud" thing as MS and others want to impose on us, but let's wait to see what comes out of Windows "9" and if it comes to be the same/worse crapware as 8 is or another good thing like XP/7. But anyway, maybe we're reaching conclusions ahead of time? By now all we can make are guesses, let the guy make his first steps and then let's speak about what he has actually done
Problem with using that as the main storage for your files is that you no longer have full control over your data!
When stored "in the cloud", a file is essentially controlled by the company providing the service, that means if they have a failure or are hacked or something, your files are lost, if they decide/are forced to close, your files are lost, if you forgot the password, your files are lost, if your ISP is slow, your files takes ages to transfer, if your ISP goes down, your files are unreachable, if someone inside the company really wants, the have full access to your data.
I don't think "the cloud" is safe or reliable enough for making my main data store, maybe for a secondary backup of something not that important. The nice part, where I definitely agree with you, is that it's good for accessing everywhere, for file transfer and sharing it may come in handy.
