Sony will sell its struggling PC business to a Japanese investment firm, the company said Thursday, meaning the slick “Vaio” brand could all but disappear from markets outside Japan.

That's a damn shame, Sony VAIOs were always awesome in my experience. Used nothing but them for their build quality.

Windows 8(.1) is bad, that much is obvious, but there are a lot of other additional factors that are contributing to dwindling PC sales across the board.

For one the parts have gone up in prices by 15% tablets and smartphones start to look more attractive to the average buyer especially all they want to do is cruise the web

For users like me who game on a PC it is getting ridiculous trying to keep up with decent prices on parts Video Cards have taken the worst hit because of Bitcoin prices are just through the roof

I always thought that Sony shouldn't have started making (assembling) PCs. They are good in cameras and sound systems. They should stick to that.

How will it sound, Microsoft launched a new home theater .
