A good change is on the way

In the coming weeks you'll notice a change happening. SkyDrive will become OneDrive, an even better place to store and share your favorite things across all of your favorite devices. But don't worry, during this transition you'll still be able to access all of your photos, videos, documents, and files.

OneDrive. It's everything you love about SkyDrive and more.

    And it's coming soon.

What was wrong with Skydrive name? It was perfectly fine.

Trademark dispute with a UK company called "Sky". Microsoft lost the legal battle so they were more or less forced to rename Skydrive to something else not unlike the Metro->Modern UI switch.

I hope they fix the messy sharing options setting ('get a link' - what is that). It was a lot easier and more obvious on the 'old' skydrive.

It's a link you can email to someone to give access to selected file(s). Example: http://sdrv.ms/1fZURy8

    I don't see any changes.

    I agree get a link/ Shorten link...
I found it more straight forward to View original and copy and Paste
The only time I would use it if I wanted to share a folder with many files in it,
    Cheers.
