Comcast was NOT slowing the traffic for Netflix. The connection from Netflix data center to Comcast ran through another vendor and that link was getting overloaded. This deal bypasses the other vendor and hooks Comcast directly to the Netflix data centers.
So this crap about net neutrality and slowing traffic is pure BS.In exchange for payment, Netflix will get direct access to Comcast's broadband network,
