    Best is to upgrade nothing. If you have a good working system, why go thru the trouble.

    What if you break a piece of hardware? Z77 boards begins to be rare to retailers, is coming Broadwell!!

    As support extend to 2020 for Windows 7 i do not expect my system running that long! :)

    Well, in todays weather forecast for Germany they were talking about 22C for Sunday. That's warmer than here.

    nobodyspecial run his windows7 for 6?~ years now without trouble no anti virus no malware protection just use brain and it 100% as when nobodyspecial install it only action i take is to make special reinstall disc with all my important things such as drivers and i redo this every 6 months i have ehhh i count discs....ehh too many to count haha

    nobodyspecial take peek at his homemade thermometer/barometer/sling psychrometer/wind guage (yes nobodyspecial afraid of the weather) and it tell me it is 4 celsius brrrr i go put on another sweater because no need to put on pants

    This is better handled by backup imaging, which will reimage your C drive in 20 minutes to the exact state as when you made the image.
