According to Heidoc's Jan Krohn, MS is transferring the ISO's from Digital River to Azure servers.

That is an interesting development. Does give MS greater control in the distribution. It also allows them to directly monitor who is downloading IMO.

As of noon today (4/1) Ultimate 32-bit is working for me (no, it's not an April fool). At 1.1 meg, I hope it finishes before they go down again. Still have to get 64-bit.

I'm guessing he's referring to his download speed not the size of the download.

Can someone please help a n00b? I've been procrastinating on doing what I guess is called "Clean Reinstall" for quite some time but hadn't yet when I saw that the ISO's weren't available anymore & I freaked out! Now that they're back I'd really like to have one on hand but I'm soooo lost on the whole thing.
    These are free right?
I'm running Home Premium 64-bit SP1 ( click on My Specs)
Once I get to the Digital Rivers page what do I click on to download for my PC?
    Thanks.

Thanks Rich. I just need to download it for now & can do the rest later when I'm ready, right?
