Well that was fast. Microsoft has yanked its sponsorship from an upcoming half-hour special on Fox featuring Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, according to Variety

I think the real crime here is that Seth MacFarlane has become such a blatant money whore that he is starting to churn out sub-standard work.
'The Cleveland Show' anyone?
Despite the demographic appeal of Family Guy, I'm surprised MS even considered a deal with MacFarlane in the first place.
I'm glad. And I too am surprised they even considered it.
Family Guy is the definitive example of amoral abuse of common sense in broadcasting. Especially considering it appears on TV when the youngin's are still awake. I see no reason why it would have any appeal to any advertiser in the first place.
Just live a life and have sense of humor. Typically liberals with this attitude, gotta be all down and serious. Family Guy is starting to be the next The Simpson's and I'm probably the biggest Simpson's fan in the world (along with South Park).
I think it is a huge mistake for Microsoft pulling out of this deal. I think it's pretty clever Microsoft could've had a good laugh against their own products unlike Apple....*looks across the hallway*
No matter how funny Family Guy is...it is humor that is spread thin amongst certain groups of people. With a company that needs the majority of the public's approval to buy their product...supporting a show that promotes crude humor, sterotypes, and other types of humor would not bid well with its shareholders and the majority of the world
It is all about image...and no matter how hard you may argue...Family Guy isn't the best *image* to be spreading
