That is not quite correct. Their phones were fine. It was the Symbian system that got really dated. Which shows again that you have to have a long breath and a lot of resources to keep an operating system alive and up-to-date.Nokia has built nothing but garbage for a while now,
Even as recent as end of 2010 they were still the 800 pound gorilla in mobile.
Noted,
If your not 1st or 2nd now days nobody gives you a second look,
Seems Android has stolen the show,
Even Apple is looking pretty bad,
I can't say I've even considered a Nokia for longer than those stat's ?
Cheers for posting it
Yeah, already end of 2010 it was clear that Android would be the winner. Look at the growth rates versus inventory then.
Well, apple is the only manufacturer that uses their own OS in the chart. It seems Apple is doing well since their market share is only from their products unlike Android, which has multiple manufacturers. Is the blank Windows Phone?
The Guys talking about emerging markets & people who cannot afford a PC , yet another article sensationalized by idiots.
I'd rather spend the money on new parts for my desktop.
I spend most of my spare time using it (browsing, coding, editing music and video, emailing, typing Word docs, etc.).
OTOH, I guess that people who have mobile phones "glued to their ears" all day long, would have other priorities.
