Didn't they say Firefox 19 was insecure, so get Firefox 20?
Didn't they say Firefox 18 was insecure, so get Firefox 19?
Didn't they say Firefox 17 was insecure, so get Firefox 18?
Didn't they say Firefox 16 was insecure, so get Firefox 17?
Didn't they say Firefox 15 was insecure, so get Firefox 16?

What exactly will I be protected from when I upgrade?
And how many of my plugins will stop working?
And is it worth it? :)

Older versions of browsers don't get supported and hackers find new exploits that won't be fixed.

Is there a two-line bookmark add-on that works?

All the updates explained with SS's on one page. Not sure if this was posted in this thread but it seems really useful.

They removed the option under tabs to hide the tab bar if only one window is in use. I don't like this because it just means I have the tab title bar up top all the time, and I don't use tabs. I never have. I'm used to separate windows since the days of Win95, and with 7 grouping program windows together it's pointless to use tabs, when I can click on the program icon to bring up any window I want, and even close a specific window, if the browser is minimized.

    @ Diosoth;

Try using "Tab Utilities" add-on, it gives you the option of single window mode.

I'm a tab hater as well, and with this add-on I've killed about 98% of tab appearances.

Also, there is "Tab Killer", which I used to use, but it conflicted with other add-ons I run (46) on the newest Pale Moon (Firefox) versions. You may have to edit the rdf file on this one, but this DID kill them all!

Well... I'm definitely thinking about getting Pale Moon now. This new UI format ruins how I had preferred to have my Firefox interface set up. It's a real shame as I've been a huge fan of Firefox for many years now.

Do you guys know if all the standard plugins and add-ons work smoothly with the 64bit version of Pale Moon?

Yep.... no issues so far. And as I said above, I run 46 add-ons and 25 or so scripts.

Just copy over your profile and you're good to go.

    Try it, you'll be impressed.

Every version will become insecure at some time, so I'll stick with my favorite insecure version? That's interesting logic

Meh , I switched to Opera since I mostly run tamper monkey add ons and now they have a add on to make chrome extensions which is wonderful. Works great and fast, mostly using it because it can use the chrome extensions but I prefer the ui of opera since it reminded me a bit of firefox.

One more annoyance- clicking a link that opens a new window gives you a window that isn't maximized. I've found no option so far to change this behavior.

Thanks, Sarris, I'll give it a try.
