Very sweet!
Hello Sevenforum family, as you are aware I went to a technology conference yesterday (17th) and here is my write up of the event.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well firstly where do I begin, guess I will start the freebies I managed to gather through the day, I have a total of 37 pens, 64GB’s in memory sticks and I shook so many hands I probably have an std.
The main attraction of the event was the new and upcoming technology in LMS (learning management systems). I spoke to various companies over the course of the day, but there were 3 of them that really stand out to me, LMS is no-longer a fancy database. The companies have managed to change the way companies use the internet. For the web designers here I can’t express how easy, sleek and beautiful these pages are on multi-devices. I don’t know if anyone here has any interest in LMS’s or works with them so Im going to stop here, I can write more if you would like.
Secondly, IBM have some new quite amazing technology they are going to be revealing in the next few weeks, unfortunately I can’t go into too much detail until they realise it, however I can say “MainFrame”.
Also I managed to have a little play on a “RazorBlade Pro” one word to explain the system is PHNOMINAL! 17” of pure gaming laptop, weighing just less than 6lb, in a full aluminium shell. The touch pad also has an integrated LCD screen, kicking out a better resolution then my iPhone 4. Its running a Intel i7-4700HQ 2.4ghz with 3.4ghz Turbo!!! Amazing.
Finally Seven Forums looks amazing through a pair of Google glasses.
Trust me, if people miss your posts its because threads can be easily missed. Happens all the time. Or they read it and don't feel like they need to comment. Under my threads you can see how many views it gets
Yeah, quite a few people have read it. Would have been nice for some feedback though, as it took me ages to write.
It's amazing (and pretty amusing) that it is all coming back around to the mainframe model. Everyone's phone and tablet will be a Terminal.
