    I would be funny (to me at least)...if Ballmer got on stage and right at the moment he says Windows 8 is finished...the world ends...

    it will be completly different from vista and 7 i think. 7 only had minor visual upgrades from vista, it mainly focused on the perfomace because loads of people hated vista so they bought out win7. But i think win 8 will take windows to a whole new level, i can't imagine what it will look like, also what kind of machines and componets will be out by then.

    I hope you are wrong...the world doesn't need an off/on OS cycle...it makes things very annoying
