5.2 Ghz on dry ice. But still, 1.504.....

They reckon it actually booted into Windows at 4.6 ghz with 0.975v !
Lmao i just noticed the link...
    he's running Windows Server!
it shows as vista but its server....
too bad he didnt post the CPU scores though..
and it was actually 4.5 (stable enough i guess to run 3dmarks) according to the 3d marks score...
using dry ice and temps such like -110 i am blown away....

    buttah you say?
    then i better start saving...

i dont think companies such as rockstar want to or even care about 8 threaded games
they care about $$$ ( and selling to the lowest common denominator... same with 32/64)
i really believe they just ported it to the point that it was playable and didnt do any optimizing...

.... i know, it had such potential though..

but as you say ''rockstar'' could care less at this point how it runs on the PC....

I knew there was a good reason to wait for grabbing an i7. Revisions.

    1.5 volts! yowza.
Shame it's a revision that's going to be the most expensive

Hopefully some will be released for the 920, and the LGA1160 CPU's will be coming through soon.
