Had my first BSOD using Vista at work last week (right after installing a Windows Update no less). Have yet to see one in any build of 7.

I'd like to know what they honestly think they can address in a service pack. Unless it's a re-write for how the way the OS handles drivers, I don't think there will be anything worth looking at besides the stability issues (which also seem to be driver related).

Win 7 has the best out of the box driver support of any OS to date, the only drivers i put in myself were Creative and Ati for vid card. Everything just works.

The release of SP1 alone will no doubt result in a bump in Win7 sales. Based on past experiences there are many users and perhaps some corporations who are delaying their purchases of Win7 until the magical SP1 is out.
