Windows 7 Beta update

    Windows 7 Beta update

    Posted: 03 Feb 2009
Issue that is fixed in this update

Windows Media Center crashes when it merges broadcast guide schedule data in certain countries. This occurs if some in-band schedule data contains Content Reference Identifiers (CRID) for schedule events. In this scenario, broadcast guide schedule data cannot be merged as expected. For example, some broadcast guide data in the United Kingdom contains CRIDs. Therefore, features that depend on guide data merging do not work correctly. For example, PVR auto-extension for recordings in the United Kingdom may not work correctly.

This issue has occurred in the United Kingdom and in New Zealand.

since its MS which does not care about whether how we quote the article but whether we are running W7 and looking for this update or not...

the wierd thing though is that i should have or should alert/ed me through the newsletter...
    this one never came...
maybe because i specified that i dont live in these places...
