I'll believe it when I see it. I doubt it will be any good though.
Move over Firefox, Chrome users.....
There's been talk for a while that Microsoft was going to make some big changes to Internet Explorer in the Windows 10 time frame, making IE "Spartan" look and feel more like Chrome and Firefox.
It turns out that what's actually happening is Microsoft is building a new browser, codenamed Spartan, which is not IE 12 -- at least according to a couple of sources of mine.

I just mentioned it in a thread I posted a few minutes ago:
Windows in 2015: What Can we Expect?
Spartan+IE sounds like a drastic improvement to me. But then again, I only use IE anyway so no matter how it turns out I'll be using it... Even if it's exclusive to 10.
If and or when Microsoft comes out with a new browser I will surly give it a try.
One never know until one tries. If I don't like it I will just use another browser. Done.
I'm always up for a new browser try out.
Although these days my use/adoption relies on add ons.
I'm sure they will have to call it something else Spartan is already taken
I believe ie11 is a pain in the bum so I installed Firefox just to get rid of some annoyances
Not that I use Firefox
I'm with you on this one Andrew. I dont think it will be any good either. I never really liked IE from its inception. So to get around that I use to use netscape navigator years ago when that one was a dominant force in the browser front but now i use firefox and ive really liked it so far for the time Ive been running it. But just maybe on the other side of the coin Microsoft maybe did something good this time and maybe it will be a whole ton better than IE. Will just have to wait and see
The worst thing about ie is it's compatibility view lists from Microsoft that download automatically,
Get rid of them and most sites display just find and load much faster
Unfortunately that's one of the quirks in 10TP and ie11 that triggers a default settings popup on restart
Installing Firefox pretty much killed that popup message
Otherwise ie is much faster than even Chrome and loading websites
Can't speak for gaming not interested in that usage,
Firefox is pretty slow still on my brief usage,
Cheers.
I only use IE11 for MS updates. I'll wait and see if/how "Spartan" works. I wonder if it will be a vunerable as IE is. I also wonder if it will more open to addons than IE is. I also wonder if it will only work on Win10.
