    It's not a witch hunt.

It's a bunch of KB's that are listed as important that are not important.
Also a bunch of KB's with very little information about what they do exactly and what they interact with.

We need full disclosure from Microsoft so we know what is being tried and the reasons.

That is not a witch hunt.
It instead is wanting to be informed what the hell is Microsoft trying to do and how and why with our perfectly good working installed Windows 7.

I guess I'll say it again

None of the three updates in question were actually important depending on
how your settings are set it might show up as important,

All 3 for me were in the Optional category even though 1 was a recommended
update = that is up to how your settings are set

Seems one has morphed into Important :/

I have blocked all Windows updates until we find out why they are tampering with our computers, when we are not looking. This looks like some sort of a trick to get as many people as possible to change to Windows 10.

It's not a trick, it's called proactive marketing. They certainly don't want to repeat the "success" of W8/ 8.1. But the customers with large numbers of users like the big corporations are not going to be impressed by that. They go by their own criteria.

I'd say Microsoft doesn't want to repeat 8,
8.1 wasn't near as bad numbers wise :)

All I want is for Microsoft not to play Update games with my Windows 7 installs.
Leave my Windows 7 alone with all these damn Windows 10 B/S updates.

Microsoft if you must play these update games; play it with the counterfeiters in China and leave my systems alone.

Ditto! Besides that most of the time the info link doesn't work on a new patch, the patch itself doesn't work or crashes the machine. I don't trust MS to update my machine anymore much less install a new OS with a UI that looks like it was designed in a third-grade art class.

The Insider Forum is full of "yea, lets move forward" comments but W8 and W10 are NOT moving forward. Windows is getting gutted with every new version and the icons look like they came off a cave wall. That's not moving forward.

Do you mean that the icons are paleolithic like the ones from Lascaux that were designed about 17.300 years ago. I think the Lascaux ones are a lot prettier.
