Looks like a good way to find more feedback and error codes to deal with,
    Error code 8024210c
This is the first one in a day or so from attempting upgrade win-7 ultimate which started out as 10041 then turned into 10061
Sorry but M$ thinks these are stable enough to be pushed out ?

Personally I believe it's a win ultimate issue but only M$ can sort out the errors.
And this guy had the four updates in question installed.

Maybe that's what the updates are for? Do some data mining, so MS can figure out if they can create a viable upgrade path for W7 & W8.

Did anyone sign up for Windows 10 announcements from Microsoft?

I did, and just received an email from Windows talking about the free upgrade.

For Windows 8.1 users, they were saying to update to Windows 8.1 Update and for Windows 7 users, they were saying to update to SP1.

There is still a small percentage of systems on W8. And XP is still more than W8 and W8.1 together.
