Cost me about £50 in new/old bits to build this one up, i only built it cos my laptop wouldn't play deltaforce extreme/bhd cos of the lack of shader support on the intel gfx...
I have rent and bills to pay that take priority over such things, but seriously this is running very nicely considering the age of some parts, the most expensive bit was the ram lol...
And what about developing/third world countries? i think your view is selfish.
Well maybe if you saved up you'd be able to afford something newer. I myself have a AU$280,000 mortgage, an 18-month old child and a wife to feed, all on AU$60,000 a year, and I still manage to get myself new parts - all because I save up the cash I need to do the things I want. No credit cards here, mate.....
As for the third world, life is what you make it, and if they're too lazy to get up off their backsides and help themselves improve their own quality of life, then let them to it.....
i fully agree with djshotty; technology nowdays are affordable for almost anyone so why not upgrade... quit smoking and drinking and put some money in your pocket :)
In all honesty i could go to the store and spend around £500 now, but why should i bother until this machine won't play something i want, and its only gonna be a game eh, this machine runs any app i throw at it and most games too??
I also had fun buying old bits from ebay and friends to build this pc up.
we are going offtopic now... its good that your system fullfils all your demands win7 but to other like me for example really HARDware is needed. I work in architecture and graphic design industry... so i medium PC in this days don't suply what i really need
PS. let's get back to the topic
