Windows 10 has overtaken XP

Yea I wonder if Microsoft will ever publish how many 7 keys they deactivated so far without the people being able to use 10.
I don't believe 10 was ever forced
People are naturally curious and this is the click click next generation :)
Click click generation , i refer to it as the "as long as it's free" generation.

No doubt the figures do not include those that installed 10, did not like it & decided to go back to 7.

Big whoop! The main reason Win 10 adoption figures are so high is because of the way Microsoft has been not only giving it away (sorta) but also because it has been pretty much forcing it onto computers with earlier OSes.
Yeah, the truth can be funny.

Careful with that word "truth" my lady, I had a post censored recently because of it.

Not to mention, if they are going with "total devices" figures as opposed to computers in general, as devices also include; phones, tablets and xbox, all of which do not run XP (that I'm aware of at least)
10 is not too bad OS wise, but for a free OS, which is run on multiple platforms compared to XP, I feel the adoption numbers are a bit of a bitter sweet victory.

Myth who? Mythtaken? You should do something about that lisp (or fix your S key).

Myth = collectively held belief that has no basis in fact.

So you deny that Win 10's rapid adoption is due more to its being free and actively pushed onto people's computers than for its own "merits"? You are sadly mythtaken.
