In my opinion it runs smoother than 2007. Also looks a tad better, looking forward to the final version

Hi Adrian,

You should have had your private reply by now but will give general details here to help others ...

Whilst sorting out my sync with my Sony phone I worked with the developers of My Phone Explorer which is the best Application available IMO for working with Most SE Phones, and they found that all they had to change was the actual ident string from office 12 to 14 - all the other functions in outlook were the same - so little work was needed.

The changes are made and working in the current Beta and I understand will be included in the next public build

I was lucky I was dealing with a small independent developer - getting apple to rush to support Microsoft Beta software, in the form of a iTunes Addin, may be more difficult.

You may find some independent site will come up with a patch soon but would not expect apple to rush before the full official release.

Due to office having a virtual monopoly in office apps on the Mac used in business, they will I think have to support Outlook 2010 Eventually - Of course they will hopefully make the minor changes in the next Itunes release.

Check to see if you need to reset your printer as default. When I installed 2010, it set One Note as default, and for some reason that removed the printer from the print options in a couple of programs.

I did notice that it did this... just as annoying as the added XPS Printer in Vista and 7

Installed this on a few computers. Dumped Office 2007 for this. All the applications are very nice. They all load instantly which is very nice.

Practically major changes are in PowerPoint : new set of animations, background removal of image etc...
(compared with 2007 SP2) But am disappointed for the round ribbon disappearance...the startup splash screen with animation looks good too.Anyway, i have not seen any major negative points .
