    Hi,
    Yep
I roll back out of this months Important kb can't remember off hand which one it was and just loaded the security only one for November :/
It did not like my Acer very much
I had some odd svc host spikes at startup that were twice as long as previously seen
Also had a black screen flash so what ever graphic's patch didn't go well.

Asus build not any issues so I left it for now
I didn't load any of the recommended updates on either
I have not installed anything for my laptop yet :/

    Hi

Did people decide that generally these 'preview' updates weren't worth installing? I've installed the patch for 8th November however, I seem to recall people thought the preview updates included already installed updates, or they were test (beta?) software. I have two optional 'preview' updates including a preview update for network 3.5.1.

    To install or not?

Maybe i am too of an old fashioned but i do not prefer install those preview updates before the monthly ones since i don't see the point to install twice the same updates. I prefer them to get mature till the patch Tuesday. After all we were waiting every month before...

I've install only the .Net Framework preview one which care only of v3.5.1 on my machine, but i could have skip it too.

It's up to you if you really care of protecting your computer before next patches event.

If you set them hidden, next month will unhidden and delete, to replace by the monthly ones.

    windows update rollup

Hello Everyone, I have installed the monthly rollup updates, and have had no problems. I find it odd
that Microsoft offers you the preview of the monthly rollup after the monthly update has already been
offered, it is back to front.:)

Hello AddRAM, I have not installed the previews either, and do not intend to. It is like checking on something after the fact, and just doubling up.:)

    Hi,
    Yep
One installs the classified Important one then the preview one for the next month

Personally I probably will stop it and just go for the not issued security only like some others are doing :)

Of course that means restoring an image before all this silliness started which was I believe October or was it August ?

    windows update rollup

Hello Thrashzone and AddRAM, After just re-installing windows, and without installing any updates for
October or November, my pc is running really well. I may not install any updates now. I cannot see
me using Windows 10, unless I absolutely have to, as my internet connection is through a satellite
dish and I know with Windows 10 the updates are endless, and could take all of my usage for the month.
I love my simple Windows 7, plus I do not trust Microsoft too much anymore with the updates.
