I hope they don't use MS as an example (W8 series & W10) and as a result, totally "screw up" the new version.

Or be in such a rush that they release a half baked program like Malwarebytes did. Be nice to have a new version that actually works.

I think it would be wise to have the latest stable V6 revision before V7 is released.
I'm not sure if you can download older versions once a new version has been released.

That is the reason I save the installation files of all downloaded versions of programs, even after I have updated. Not all updates are an improvement. Sometimes an update is buggier than a flophouse bed (I'm talking about you, MBAM). Because of that,, I occasionally have to revert to an earlier version (I also make an image before installing any updates). More often than not, one can't download earlier versions once a new one comes out so reverting would be impossible if one hadn't saved an earlier version.

    Same here (~30 GB).

I get most of my installers from Filepuma or FileHorse.
It seems that they have old installers for most of the software I use.

Excuse me folks. Someone mentioned an MBAM release that was not up to snuff. Could you please clarify which program and which release? I've been having some issues lately and I use MBAM.

    Thanks.

Yes......MBAM (anti malware) version 3.XX is really buggy. Does not seem ready for release. It is slow, and gives several problems. Stick with version 2.XX if you can.

    Yay!

Thanks gldndragn. I'm still on Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.2.1.1043, so I will just remember your good advice and stay there for a while.

    Thank you kindly.
