I forgot who said it in this forum, about different versions of RC (unofficial) "I have never downloaded so many versions of any os in my life".....those days around March April this year was great...we can hope for such many "leaked" versions of Win 8...

Brian, I too feel that it is way too early to talk about a new OS. But forget about the bootlegging, it will get you into hot water. With Linux, you can download and make all the copies for all of your friends that you want. Not so with Windows. And that's part of what makes software costs so much for all of us honest ones. We're paying for the freeloaders. About 20% of Windows software is counterfeit. I myself was a victim of counterfeiting, making a cheap eBay purchase for XP Pro. But I got my money back, thanks to eBay's anti-counterfeit policy. You probably was joking, and your apology is accepted. But the joke wasn't funny, and because of "bootlegging", we're all paying more than we should have to.
