    Windows 8 is coming in 2012

    MS is going to try to stick to a 3 year release cycle for these OS's. I think this will ensure that we see fewer massive changes and rewrites...but rather small add-ons, improvements and such.

    That sounds like the OSX release strategy...without it being released every year
