same same
Huway! Firefox FOREVER!! lol
I would NOT install Chrome if it was the last browser on the planet
my only problem with Firefox is the Devs are OUT of their MINDS... these days...
they are planning to SCRAP the XUL based extensions system
for something they call web extensions which sucks royally
and XUL is what made FF so G.R.E.A.T.
so Firefox's FUTURE is looking pretty bleak now..
and I have been using Firefox since v2.0 wayy wayy back in the day...
And now you know why I'm looking forward to the official BRAVE release.

COX Cable ( west ..) 'forces youto use Chrome
Cox's razoo user profile update does NOT work on Firefox - for 2 months got the" OOPS unexpected error " page, and that's now the only way to manage your email users. Crap does work on Chrome, so had to fire that up- JUST to Add, Delete, Change Cox Email secondary users. Been 2 months, a tier 2 'ref' number and still not fixed on firefox.
Which By the Way - somewhere in their junior programming up grade, they changed their POP3 link - for the last 10 years it's been pop3.west.cox......, suddendly my secondary accounts were getting error messages that they were inactive - which led to the firefox issue above. BUT turns out that now the link is POP.west.cox.... ( not pop3). stumbled across that fix on my own . That was another tier 2 ref 3 that s/h/b resolved in 24 ( no 72) hours, and as far as I know still isn't. I'm surprised that othershaven't run into this problem, or maybe I'm just special.. Anyway - that's why I fired up chrome, and the only reason i'd use it ( although I DID change the default download directory to "chrome stuff" ...

What is happening to all the browsers is absolutely insane. There is no decent browser available yet. Last week we ran into the old https battle and had to uninstall Kaspersky just to access sites that Kaspersky thought were not certified. Oddly, the Kaspersky on my PC did not give me this problem but the browser battle continues so it's either Fire Fox or I.E. for me. Chrome is far too intrusive for my liking and Chromium is too limiting.

Pale Moon?
Has anyone tried Pale Moon? This was a "fork" of Firefox several years ago.
I can't remember all the details (which I believe are available at The Pale Moon Project homepage), but I believe the author disagreed with the direction Mozilla was taking with the UI.
Most Firefox extensions and plug-ins work with it, and there are are special Pale Moon versions for several which do not.
I would be interested in hearing any critical comments about this browser.
