Hi! I donīt know why, but with this update my Logitech Performance MX stop to function properly. I can still use the mouse after restart but my computer canīt identify the mouse in the logitech mouse program. In other words the mouse speed is back to default and all the extra buttons sease to function.
Iīve tried so many times to reinstall the mouse drivers(setpoint) and with system restore but nothing seems to work.

What should I do ?

Hi wedajm,

In a case like yours what is usually done is to go to system restore and check if updates created a restore point before it applied the most recent update(s) if it did, run the restore point and then check if your machine has been restored to its accustom functionality. I would restart your machine.

If it has and you run the restore point, the next best thing to do is to install the security only update as shown in Brinks #3 post. At some point later on you can try to figure out or may hear news on why this month's full update affected mouse functions.

You're welcome.

I did find this:
Quote:
Addressed a rare issue where mouse input can cease to function. The mouse pointer may continue to move, but movements and clicks produce no response other than a beeping noise.

It's for win8 but may affect win7 also.

Looks like windows has a bit more to work on to address this issue. They fixed it in 8, but now it affects 7...Hmmm...

I always do the Security Only updates also. Be aware that if you do the IE 11 "stand alone" update along with the Security only update, there is a printing problem reported in IE 11.

No problem, I don't use IE. I only update it on the advice of folks here who say it's so integrated into Windows that you're better off keeping it current.
