    Improvements and fixes

This security update includes improvements and fixes that were a part of update KB4034670 (released August 15, 2017) and resolves the following issues:

    • Addressed issue where applications that have LDAP referral chasing options enabled use a TCP dynamic port connection that doesn’t close until the applications close or the calling OS restarts. With sufficient time and volume, these applications may completely consume all TCP dynamic ports. If that occurs, network communications will fail for any protocol or operation that uses dynamic ports. This issue was introduced by the July and August 2017 cumulative updates, starting with KB4025337 and KB4025341.
    • Updates to Internet Explorer 11’s navigation bar with search box.
    • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer where undo is broken if character conversion is canceled using IME.
    • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer where graphics render incorrectly.
    • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer where the Delete key functioned improperly.
    • Re-release of MS16-087- Security update for Windows print spooler components.
    • Security updates to Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Windows shell, Windows Hyper-V, Windows kernel, Windows Virtualization, and Internet Explorer.

For more information about the resolved security vulnerabilities, please refer to the Security Update Guide.

This damn KB4038777 has caused multiple crashes of NVidia driver nvlddmkm.sys on win7sp1x64 and even BSOD!

Removed & put to hidden list.

P.S. If install the standalone KB4036586 (IE11 update v11.0.46) that is also a part of above KB4038777, the result is almost same - both IE11 & Win7 are freezing... and hard shutdown required to resolve

    Also removed!

P.P.S. Oops, sorry folks! It's quite likely that I gave all of you a wrong prompt.
The reported issues of nvidia driver crashing & win7 freezing seem to be originated in my dying nvidia videochip... or maybe all of this last years mess around m$ updates is just helping this videochip to die young...

After installing KB4038777 on our HP 6200 desktop machines (running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit) our users are experiencing a blank screen with cursor for several minutes immediately after logging in, thus delaying their ability to log in and get to work. Removing KB4038777 and rebooting fixes this issue.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?
