If you feel you don't need the security updates, you can go back as far as you want.

I've been putting off updating from v.57 because
    1. I want to see bugs wiped out,
    2. I don't have many add-ons but I rely on most of the ones I do have, and
    3. I haven't been able to find many screenshots of any GUI customization. No one has yet addressed if I could keep the Menu Bar which I've been using with Netscape/Mozilla/FF for 20 years, or am I going to be stuck with a Google Chrome clone?

Yes, mine was one of the few things preserved when the update occurred.

I'm not sure, but I think I'm one of the only two people here who really hates the new FF?

It has really messed up my extensions. They still all work, but the functionality is way different in ways that I do not like. Colorful tabs now colors the whole menu bar, and an add on that forum rules prevent me from discussing has controls that are now buried under sub-menus.

It's like when Mozilla decided they were going to bork FF, the extension makers said "Us too!"

I use mozillaZine extensively. There are 5 links in this thread for restoring some extensions and some of the old functionality. It's not any more work than we've been doing for all these years to customize our FF. If you hit a roadblock, ask the folks at Mozillazine.

Sad day in my house.... mozillaZine Forums
