Cumulative update for Internet Explorer: March 23, 2018

Applies to: Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 SP1


This security update resolves several reported vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 11 running on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1). The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution if a user views a specially crafted webpage in Internet Explorer. Win7 sp1 Pro 64bit / XP sp2 Pro (games only)

What has happened at M$ ?? I installed the update and it only changed ONE of my settings. And for that even put a flag on my home screen to notify and tell how to revert to my preferred setting. This is almost scary, is there an ulterior motive here ????
