Skype Private Conversations for encrypted chats now available

private conversations! Enable you skype users to have end-to-end encrypted chats 4 text messages, files, and photos + calls w/ high security. Private conversations can only be accessed at one device at a time.
Select the new chat button and then select “new private conversation”

We all know that, since the Microsoft takeover, Skype communication is all but private, everything goes though MS' servers and could be promptly delivered to the NSA or sold to the best bid.

I don't believe it. Just like I'll never EVER use Bitlocker.

I have a Team Speak server and it uses encryption. My peer to peer coms with a friend is probably a hell of a lot more private.

These chats are private like Whataspp's...
As soon as they are backupped on 'their' servers, there will be an EULA that provides them every rights to read them as they like. This is what happens with Google Drive.
