I just pasted it into the address bar of a different tab. Not sure why the forum won't show it, though my browser shows tinypic as an unsecured site.
Yeah, off topic, but Firefox sometimes has a problem with it, you just gotta tell it its OK.
There are other picture vaults out there, I just haven't gotten around to trying them.
I only use IE11 for these forums, FF for my main.

Kb4503277 has fixed Custom Views in Event Viewer (at least on my system PC).

Quote:
Addresses an issue that may display the error, “MMC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it.” when you try to expand, view, or create Custom Views in Event Viewer. Additionally, the application may stop responding or close. You may also receive the same error when using Filter Current Log in the Action menu with built-in views or logs.

I stand corrected. I can get into the logs but clicking on Custom views still gives me the error message in post #3

I found this in the Application logs and has something to do with ASP.NET:
Code:
Log Name:      Application
Source:        ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0
Date:          6/20/2019 8:00:52 PM
Event ID:      1020
Task Category: Setup
Level:         Warning
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:      Pester1
Description:
Updates to the IIS metabase were aborted because IIS is either not installed or is disabled on this machine. To configure ASP.NET to run in IIS, please install or enable IIS and re-register ASP.NET using aspnet_regiis.exe /i.
Event Xml:
<Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">
  <System>
    <Provider Name="ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0" />

</Event>
Now I gotta figure that out...

I don't install any of the preview updates or rollups, so I'll hang on to see if they've fixed it in next month's security update.

What's the diff between "preview of update" and actual update?
