hmm... no crashes huh? it must be the extensions you use or don't use..

    I use

    - Classic Theme Restorer
    - TabMixPlus
    - etc
too many to name them all... I am using 15 enabled XUL and Web-Extensions on Waterfox...

    and Facebook...

it crashes even in Firefox alot for me...

it was probably what was crashing Waterfox on me...
Standard tshoot is to disable half of the extensions, then reload WF. Then process of elimination. Facebook isn't an extension, so if the site keeps crashing, it's maybe the combo WF+ Facebook. Youtube has problems with wf too. The people at reddit/waterfox are very persistent in helping you solve a problem. However, I find the layout and way the threads are branched confusing.

hmm... the crashes were random... so there was no telling which addon was causing it if it was an addons fault...

And we have yet another reason why I don't like Firefox. Why can't tech companies learn if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
If they don't keep "fixing" it, they're out of a job. I was passionate about Firefox since v 1.0, and Netscape before that, till they came around with Quantum. I would have lost all my extensions except one, + the menu bar or toolbar, and all my css tweaks. I used 52.9ESR for awhile, but security fixes have run out.

So you disable half of them, run it for awhile, then if necessary the other half. Then add them back in one at a time. Might take a few days.

But it looks to me that Facebook is doing it. Youtube produced blank pages until I changed the User Agent in about:config, making it appear to be Firefox 50 on youtube.com. You can get guidance at reddit.

Back on topic: how Firefox Quantum is now perfectly matched to Win 10.
