Way to go DA, keep buggin' um.
I don't use Google Chrome, but I agree with Airbot. You might as well keep bugging them ...
Do I see a possible thunder storm 'cloud' on the horizon?
Updates comes out now for me :
lol what else should i do...
*bugging* is what i do best...:)
well not as good as smarteye...
well actually this is the chrome betas (which are called chromium, and to me chrome is still a beta...) i usually update it daily with the latest nightly build and test the heck of it...:)
and yes i can actually see the storm jacee...
For me chrome still doesnt work so Im not bothering with it until its properly out of real real beta.
I was playing COD5 multiplayer fine yesterday and have been for weeks, after these so called non updates I can no longer play online without PB kicking me because of an unknown API function error. Anyone who is playing COD5 may want to avoid these updates and even a system restore will not correct the damage.
I am feeling very suspicious about these updates, they know if a update is working without the need for this test, so why are they sending them and what are they really.
Hi Mark,
As far as I can see only the first two of the updates were actually the dummy updates - the other three had KB references so should be actual changes - have not had chance to go through the KB's yet but hopefully will later. I did have an occurrence of a known issue with Logitec's setpoint updater but no other problems. It is worrying that a system restore is not curing your issues though
I'm thinking of doing another Repair install, I think that should remove any updates and return it to the original state, hopefully that will fix it.
Hi Mark,
There was 1 update for the MC codecs in the future case not working
1 for IE and 1 for non- compatibility issues with Win7. Perhaps that's the one that messed something up for you. I know when I installed those 3 and the two test ones, it got stuck at 92% downloading status forever. I must admit, overall performance seems to be more sluggish for me since installing all 5 even with x64 and 8GB. Maybe I'm just imagining it but...
