A dangerous and unpatched vulnerability in Adobe Systems Inc.'s PDF-reading software has been around a lot longer than previously realized.
The Adobe Reader flaw, which was first reported late last week, has caused concern because the bug is easy to exploit and Adobe isn't expected to patched it for several weeks.

I understand. I stopped using Adobe reader a little bit ago when Avast said I had 2 viruses.. I dl the 8.1.3 instead of 9 from Adobes site. Not sure if they were legitimate or not..

Been using Foxit as an alternative to Adobe Reader for a long time and love it. I dislike the Adobe downloader that they're basically forcing on users now. But thanks for the info about the vulnerability.... good to know.
Only use Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended , no security problem with that as far as I know.
