So people tried it and didn't like it, what's the big deal? Its still the most intriguing tech company since Google.

And I don't get this catty bitterness towards Twitter, like its Paris Hilton or something.

It so much fun if you know how to use it right.

The whole point of Twitter is worthless. Bookmark the website or subscribe to it's RSS feed instead of reading worthless teasers and headlines that'll point you with a link to the website anyway

Twitter is only as good as the people you follow it with. If you follow your neighbour's 16 year old daughter, of course you will get banal updates about lip gloss and Twilight. From a developer's perspective, the API is extremely interesting and personally, I love being able to get things off my chest once in a while!

    Hi all
"Text-ese" is bad enough - rendering a lot of youngsters almost incapable of coherent logic and conversation - but Twitter with it's insane 140 byte limit has just gone too far and people have now rumbled it to what it really is -- a totally INANE way of communicating. It's demise can't come quick enough in my view and from what I've observed the average "Tweet" makes the old mobile phone conversation you hear almost every time you get on a train in Europe these days "I'm on the train" almost sound interesting in comparison.

(Gerorge Orwell in his novel 1984 would have loved Twitter for his new language "NEWSPEAK").

    Let's hope year 2010 TWITTER R.I.P

Oh noes...Twitter is dying...how will we ever be able to get real time updates from important events like Miley Cyrus' choice of cereal for breakfast or Megan Mccain's boobshots???

    twit

/twɪt/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [twit] Show IPA , –noun Informal. an insignificant or bothersome person.

Remember kids...Twitting begins with a Twit.
