Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows 7, but Not on Windows 8

    But VB6 programming did work on Windows 8 and 8.1.

    And now VB6 is OK with Windows 10 (technical preview) too.

    This thread also died before Windows 8 and 8.1 was even released. Decent info but not really the appropriate place to put it?

    Perhaps not, but at least it corrects the misconception that the VB6 programming language isn't supported on Windows 8.
