Windows 7 Build 7057 Labeled RC1, Leaked and Available for Download
-
Those torrents come from .ISO files that Microsoft gives out to people. Microsoft secretly wants the builds leaked to keep interest peaked.
I find you calling any of my releases fake or tampered with offensive.
I'm not surprised to hear about "intentional leaks" suddenly showing up on Russian or other torrent sites? 7057 on a Russian torrent site? Makes you wonder how when MS is in Redding!
Not too long after the 7000 leak in December you see it available for download! The more hoo lah and anticipation the larger the selling market. That's called "free advertising"! "party time folks"

Ok guys. Lets not let this conversation turn into anything else.

Readily agreed!
I prefer to wait anyways to see if the actual RC1 by whatever number it turns out to be is made available like seen with Vista when reaching that point. Then I can go through normal channels to upgrade out of the 7000 builds here.

Well, M$ does keep giving out valid keys that work for these "leaked" builds. I generated new keys from TechNet for 7057 x86 & x64. If M$ "really" wanted to put a stop to these "leaked" builds being used and activated by non-official BETA testers, they would blacklist the keys.

Too bad I don't do torrents
I am using build 7000

You realize there is no difference right? Just like the people that refused to download 7000 to wait for the official beta. They just looked foolish.

Um, no... there are only 10 keys, how can they blacklist them? They are the same ones for 7000 on up, so you don't need to go get new keys every build, the same ones you have (one of the 10 total there are) already work. Microsoft doesn't care about these leaked builds at this point anyways. They only care early on in the alpha stages, and rightfully so.

Blah ... they aren't that deadly, just man up and download it already.

The 64bit 7 Ultimate here has been on since the official betas were released without activation since there are no 64bit drivers available for dsl here. It still boots up however while having been installed before the 32bit 7. That will of course change once the finished product is out.
Having just installed all new updates on thursday I went back a day later to see more. That's with the 32bit 7000 build activated there seeing support.
Plus using the MS downloader you see everything verified by that for integrity over using a torrent. If the download is interrupted it will pick up where it left off to insure everything is intact on arrival. In fact I just ended up downloading the 7 Server 2008 to look that one over.

I don't believe I said anything of the sort!
I certainly didn't mean to offend you or anyone else ... I said I'd wait and the rest of you can enjoy.

Definitely in need here!

I personally have 7 "unique" keys.
