That's a nice improvement over 5 minutes, well done hopefully the next build will have that bug fixed.

I download and install. Everything works fine, except that it reports this one is Vista SP1.
How do I know that this is Win 7?

Hello SeamanV, welcome to Se7en Forums!

Type "winver" into the Start/Search box.

    Thanks Ted.
I accidentally put the wrong DVD in (I was on the phone), now I reinstall with the correct DVD. It works fine, but I do not find any improvement in speed compare with Vista. Boot up time, access time for other programs ... are almost the same.

Unbelievable - you either have a 8 CPU monster machine....

Or you got some issues with your hardware or the drivers that Win7 loaded.

I am using 13% less RAM, my boot times have shaved 25 seconds plus, and my system is roughly 300% more stable....
