    I'm using 7057 x64 right now and it takes a least 5 minutes to boot and I use a quad?! Then it 's extremly fast.

    Hi Sam, are you saying that you think a 5 minute boot is extremely fast most people take less than a minute to boot and some take less than a minute for a full reboot, are you sure it takes that long?

    I think he means it takes five minutes to boot, then once booted its fast.

    Yes same here it takes me nowhere near 5 mins. More like 40 secs.

    im sure you can make on some pIII 1ghz with 512mb of ram to boot it way under 5 min :)

    but i think i did saw somewhere about "slow boot" problem in 7057 build, i think general idea that worked for some was "try different sata port".
