    Hi all
    What's Broken ?.

OK might be some new drivers but that should work via Windows update anyway.

All my machines are running W7 just fine.

    Cheers

Not really about something actually being broken. Brings reliability and performance increases, among other improvements.

Some major companies will not upgrade from XP until Win 7 SP1, Microsoft know this and are pushing it through. I look forward to the improvements.

Plus it gives us Win 7 beta leak junkies something to look forward to. It's a similar feeling to a newer build leak.

Most likely the case. Certainly wouldn't be hard to fake those shots.

I am betting myself that the Public BETA will leak in early March myself...this would be a bit before the partners get it in late March

I know what you mean. If you install some of the hotfixes floating around you can see where SP1 might end up being.

Windows 7 SP1 Screenshots Emerge - A public Beta in July, final version in September - Softpedia

However, it seems that not all of these updates are to be included in the various flavors / stages of SP1 that Microsoft will push out to testers. Yet, one should expect them all to arrive in the final iteration. The Windows 7 SP1 Build number is said to be somewhere between 7600.20500 and .20700 at the moment, with a Beta version expected to land sometime in July, and the final variant set to be delivered to users during the fourth quarter of the ongoing year.
